 What we look for                                                                      

While prior mascot experience is not required, the ideal  performers is capable of enduring the high physical demands of being a collegiate mascot while maintaining the spirit of the FIU  community. As FIU's BIGGEST fan, Roary Rage is the spirit of the University.

-Photo copy of medical health insurance card (front & back of card)

-Photo copy of FIU student ID card or letter of acceptance to the University

Audition Process

• Program Outline

• Introduction to equipment

• Performer Expectations

• Each applicant should prepare a 30 second skit demonstrating their abilities. The skit should showcase your physical ability and entertainment skills. There are many videos online of past Roary appearances and performances from which to draw inspiration.

• Please bring any music you would like to use for your performance.

• Applicants will be given scenarios common to mascot performance. These scenarios are  designed to evaluate each performer's improvisational abilities.
